Research Reading and Writing by Dr Terry Royce
This hands-on workshop will focus on research reading and writing skills. Run by Dr. Terry Royce of the ELSSA Centre, it will feature group work and exercises on how to effectively read and extract information from research articles for a literature review. Participants should bring along a research article they are currently reading to use in the class. Terry will contact all participants prior to the workshop to gather information and send along any further instructions.

Get connected with Collaborative Tools
This hands-on workshop will help you find researchers in your disciplinary areas, how to collaborate with them and also how to identify grant and conference opportunities. The workshop will focus on using databases and collaborative tools such as Diigo and Google docs to make collaborating on projects easier and faster.
