MyLibrary

You can check the items you have borrowed, their date of return, renew items and check any hold requests or fines.

Renew your Library items

  1. Log into MyLibrary
  2. Click on the Blue "Checked Out Items" button
  3. Click on the boxes to select the items you would like to renew
  4. Click on either "Renew All" or "Renew Selected Items"
  5. Click on the "Yes" option
  6. Check that Due Date has changed

Please note: Items on Hold cannot be renewed and need to be returned by the Due Date as listed

Reading List

To activate a list of your borrowing history at the UTS Library:

  • Log into MyLibrary
  • Click on the "Opt in for Reading History" link
  • You can opt out at any time by selecting the "Opt out of Reading History" link

Export Reading List

  1. Log into MyLibrary
  2. Mark the boxes of the items you wish to export
  3. Click on "Export Reading History"
  4. Click on the type of format you want your list to be exported as
  5. Type in your email address
  6. Click on Submit

Instructions for Saving Preferred Searches - UTS students and staff only

  1. Log into MyLibrary
  2. Click on the green Search button to run your search.
  3. When you have run the search that you wish to save, click on the Save as Preferred Search button.
  4. Click on the blue MyLibrary button.
  5. Click on the Preferred Searches button.

Rerunning Saved Searches - UTS students and staff only

  • To rerun a saved search: click on the corresponding Search link.
  • To remove a saved search, click on the corresponding Mark for Remove check box and then click on the Update Searches button.

Email Alerts - UTS students and staff only

  • To mark a saved search for email alerts: click on the corresponding Mark for Email check box and then click on the Update Searches button.
  • To remove an email alert for a saved search, click on the corresponding Mark for Email check box and then click on the Update Searches button.
