If Word returns a macro security warning, check the box for "Always trust macros from this source" and then click on Enable macros. Close and restart Word.
If these options are greyed out, go back to Word and (Word 2003 or Macintosh) click on Tools, Macro, Security. Set security level to Medium and click on OK. If you get the macro security warning again, the options mentioned above should no longer be greyed out and you should select them.
