If you know the author:

If you have the original press release on paper, reference like this:

Watersmith, C. 2000, BHP enters new era, media release, 1 March, BHP limited, Melbourne.
Format: Author, year, Title, format, day and month of release, publisher, city.

If the same item was online then you'd reference it like this

Watersmith, C. 2000, BHP enters new era, media release, 1 March, BHP, Melbourne, viewed 18 July 2012, <www.bhp.com.au/mediarelease18897/>.

Format: Author, year, Title, format, day and month of release, publisher, city, viewed date, <url>.

If you don't know the author you'll have to begin the reference with the title however if you found the press release on an organisation’s own website without a specific author attribution, you can assume the organisation to be the author.
