Research Power Session for FNMH: How social media works on academic projects: share, collaborate and make you famous!

Tue, 9 October, 2012
3:00 PM to 4:00 PM  Add to calendar

How do researchers use Social Media to communicate their research? What tools do they use?  Are there specialist Social Media forums designed for Researchers? and how can they be used to connect with other resarchers?  Are Social Networking sites really worth persuing for promoting research? and if so, which ones?  There are lots of resources available to help you find and connect with other researches. This session provides an overview of the obvious and well known choices, but also many you might not have thought about.
