citing a translation long after the original print
When citing a translated book that was translated long after the original, is there no need to cite the date of the original publishing, the original publisher, or name of the book in the native language??

That's correct. You can mention the original title in the text if you want. Not required for referencing. All you need are the details of the actual translated book you used.
