The Wildebeest Workshop is a pair of portable wagons designed to facilitate community building projects, travelling workshops or roving men’s sheds. First commissioned for the 2013 Sydney Design 3x3x3 Design Challenge, they were designed and constructed entirely from recycled materials by Social Designer Tasman Munro, who is a staff member and PhD student at UTS. Wildebeest aims to encourage communities to engage in hands-on problem solving through skills sharing and DIY construction.

Join us for the launch of the exhibition, and hear from Tasman about the process of developing the wagons and how they've been used. All are welcome.

The wagons are on display in the foyer of UTS Library as part of Sydney Design Festival 2016
