"Research impact is the contribution that research makes to the economy, society, environment or culture, beyond the contribution to academic research"
-Australian Research Council (ARC)

For any research to have genuine and demonstrable impact it must involve its end recipients from research inception. Real world examples of the drastic consequences of not involving consumers will be provided, as will approaches on how to best engage the real world context be explored and discussed. You will not be disappointed!
