Research Week 2018: Practical Data Skills with Excel

Feb 7
Wed, 7 February, 2018
1:00 PM to 4:00 PM  Add to calendar

Location:

  • Level 4 - Room 4.L

Data rarely comes in the form you require. Often it is messy. Sometimes it is incomplete. And sometimes there's too much of it. Frequently, it has errors. We'll use one of the most widespread data wrangling tools, Microsoft Excel, to import, sort, filter, copy, protect, transform, summarise, merge, and visualise research data. Consider this a driving skills workshop for research data, like the Fast and the Furious, only without Vin Diesel.
