Ever wondered how some people give great presentations, appear to be uber-confident, and leave you feeling awestruck?  The chances are that they have put hours into that all-important ten minutes to get it just right.  Presentations are a skill just like any other, and no matter how much you dread public speaking come alone to this workshop and learn the simple hacks that will make your presentations shine.

 Associate Professor Brian Oliver
 School of Life Sciences

Associate Professor Brian Oliver is from the school of life sciences. He is a NH&MRC career development fellow, who leads a productive team of researchers investigating the pathophysiology of respiratory diseases, with a particular emphasis on understanding basic mechanisms leading to disease exacerbations and progression. 

The work from his group is recognised to be amongst the best in the world, evidenced by selection for presentation at symposia at both national and large international conferences as well as resulting in prestigious publications.
