This is a practical, hands on workshop for HDR students and research staff. Delve into the benefits and challenges of sharing research data across a range of research disciplines and contexts. Participants will be guided through the following aspects of publishing research data:

  • documentation and preparing data 
  • choosing an appropriate repository or data journal
  • data licencing and managing rights
  • managing data for traditional publishing processes.

Pre class exercise: To get the most out of this workshop, participants are encouraged to bring along research data ready to publish. and are expected to have a current research data management plan in Stash.
