  2. Limit your search results by Type, e.g. Book and by Format, e.g. Web.
    You can also refine your search results by Language.

eBook Databases

ACLS Humanities E-Book

Provides full-text and full-page-image access to titles in most humanities disciplines and in area studies. The books included have been recommended by scholars as significant contributions to their respective fields.


The CRCnetBASE eBook collection has a wide selection of eBooks featuring scientific and technical references and resources.

eBook Collection (EBSCOhost) 

A collection of eBooks, in multiple subject areas, available on the EBSCOhost platform. EBSCOhost eBook collection contains titles that were previously part of the Netlibrary collection.

Oxford Reference Online 

Oxford Reference Online provides online access to a range of dictionaries and reference titles which includes "The Oxford Companion to Australian History" and THE "Visual English Dictionary".

Oxford Scholarship Online 

Oxford Scholarship Online is a cross-searchable library containing the full text of hundreds of books published by Oxford University Press. Access available to: Philosophy, Political Science, Religion.

ProQuest Ebook Central (combined with EBL and ebrary)

Ebook Central delivers, with breadth and depth of ebooks from scholarly sources, including University Presses and other top publishers. ProQuest Ebook Central integrates the strengths of EBL and ebrary onto a new enhanced more comprehensive ebook platform. 

You can view books online in your browser choosing the Available for Online Reading option. If you choose Available for Full Download you may first need to install the relevant software.

Check the Ebook Central Help section if you have questions. These books can be downloaded for 14 days with Adobe Digital Editions.

Safari Technical Books Online

The Safari Books Online Platform is a personalised client experience that provides full access to Tutorials, Case Studies, Videos and eBooks from over 250 of the world’s best publishers.

Clients must use their UTS email account (@uts.edu.au or student.uts.edu.au) when accessing the New Safari Books Online Platform.
