In this guide:

The first phase will be to research the needs of EAL/D students. You can suppliment your class readings with up-to-date research on the learning needs of EAL/D learners by using education databases.

Keywords

Remember that searching is an iterative process. Based on the success of each search, and your developing understanding of your topic, you will need to change your search terms to be either more specific/targeted or more general/broad. A+ Education: This database has an Australian focus. It is not as large as the other two, but contains unique materials specific to the Australian context.

Education Research Complete: An comprehensive database that covers all aspects of education using the EBSCO databases.

Education Database (Proquest): An comprehensive database that covers all aspects of education using the ProQuest databases.
