92568: Evidence in Health Care: EndNote

In this guide:

EndNote is a reference manager that collects and stores references, and can be used with Microsoft Word or Pages to add references into an essay. Current UTS students can download EndNote for free from the Library website. EndNote can be installed on either a PC or a Mac.

To start using EndNote:

  1. Download EndNote from the Library website
  2. Install the Harvard UTS referencing stye - there are instructions on how to do this here
  3. Manually insert references using Control + N (or Command + N on a Mac) - this is best for adding websites, online reports, and books to your EndNote library
  4. Export your database searches into your EndNote library by using the 'export' function
