Evidence Based Practice: Journals

In this guide:

Journals are an excellent source of articles including Research and Review articles.

If you have the specific journal article citation you want, there are several ways you can find it:

  1. Search the catalogue for the Journal Title. Check the date against the date ranges of the services available and choose an option. Follow the links until you find the article. We have a Tutorial which explains this step by step.
  2. Use Find Articles and search for the article's title. Select the Full Text Available link.
  3. If you are still having trouble finding your article, try searching for it via Google Scholar. There may be different options available there.

If you want to do a Topic search for journal articles, do a search in a journal database.
