In this guide:

A poster is a visual presentation of information and should be understandable to the reader without verbal comment. Get the message across with effective visual displays of data and small blocks of supporing text.

Research posters summarize information of research discoveries. The  poster is usually a mixture of a brief text mixed with tables, graphs,  pictures, and other presentation formats.

There are several ways to create an A3 size Poster:

i)  Open Publisher program and choose Blank A3 (Landscape) size template to create.

ii) If you don’t want any margins, go to Page Design, then Margins, choose margin free option.

iii) Insert Text Box for editing the content. If you want margin free for text, you can choose under Text Box tools.

iv) After you finish your job, save as Adobe PDF file for your poster, then print out.

i)  Open PowerPoint program and choose to create a Blank Presentation slide.

ii) Go to Design, then Page Setup, choose Slides Sized for A3 paper and Landscape for the poster template.

iii) Insert Text Box and edit the poster.

iv) After you finish your job, save as Adobe PDF file for your poster, then print out.
