To access the Library's many electronic resources and services both off campus and on campus:
You need a username and password
This is the username and password of your UTS webmail account. To activate your UTS webmail account go to UTS: MyAccount.
You also need to have an ID card printed. Distance or offshore mode students should print out the Student ID Card Application form from the Student Administration Unit website. Follow the instructions on the form, complete and send it in.

Off Campus Document Delivery
Students living outside the Sydney metropolitan area are eligible to be emailed photocopies of journal articles and book chapters from items in the UTS Collections (subject to copyright limitations).
UTS Library is unable to supply books or audiovisual items from the UTS Collection by mail. If the item is not in the UTS Catalogue then Postgraduate and Research students should use the regular InterLibrary Loans. (Undergraduate students are not eligible for the InterLibrary Loans Service.)

Renew UTS Library books online, register to receive library notices by email, place a request without coming into the Library, and set up a preferred search.
Access subject guides, referencing guides and study skills.
Finding online dictionaries, encyclopaedias and other reference sources.
Membership at other Libraries
UTS is a member of the ULA National Borrowing Scheme. This means UTS staff and students can borrow in person from any other Australian University Library. Search Australian University Catalogues. You can also browse or search the collection of libraries across Australia with TROVE.
