The Bibliometrics for Research Action Group (BRAG) is a cross-faculty forum for UTS staff and researchers interested in exploring citation-based metrics at the individual, group or institutional level.

Our third meeting will focus on Google Scholar metrics and features:

  • SHOW AND TELL: HeadsUp: Researchers metrics module
  • QUICK AND DIRTY: What metrics does Google Scholar provide and what do they mean?
  • TALK TIME: Professor Alan McKee will describe how Google Scholar metrics are and could be used in FASS
  • BIG PICTURE: PQU will compare Google Scholar with other tools 
  • TOOL TIME: Learn how to use Publish or Perish

This event is open to all interested UTS staff and researchers.

We recommend you bring a laptop, otherwise there will be a number of shared laptops available.

BRAG is a joint collaboration between UTS Library, the Planning and Quality Unit (PQU) and the Research and Innovation Office (RIO).
