UTS Writers' Anthology: Light Borrowers

2018 UTS Writers’ Anthology, Light Borrowers: Library stairwell display and upcoming book launch.

The UTS Writers' Anthology is an annually published volume, showcasing the most exciting emerging voices from the UTS writing program. Initiated in 1982 with the publication of Pink Cakes, the anthology has evolved into a respected tradition, professionally published and launched at the Sydney Writers' Festival each year.  All students are invited to submit fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, screenwriting and essays, which are then reviewed by a team of student editors. Each year, students are selected to be part of the collaborative editing process, gaining invaluable experience working over the summer break.

An intimate exhibition in the UTS Library stairwell during May, will feature objects brought in by a selection of authors from this year's anthology and will vivify some of the short stories published this year. The display will also feature some of the UTS Anthology publications released in previous years and these books can be borrowed from the UTS Library. To read more about the anthology and this year's featured authors, visit the UTS website.

Light Borrowers will launch at the Sydney Writers' Festival on the 3rd May.
