To celebrate International Open Access (OA) Week, UTS Library will be running a series of excellent OA-related workshops.
Open Access promotes the global dissemination of information and knowledge via the internet, free of any financial, legal or technical restraints. It is a movement that has been gaining great momentum over recent years.

Building a Better Library Experience
UTS Library will be hosting daily tours for UTS staff and students to view the new Library Retrieval System (LRS)
UTS Library's research skills workshop program continues in Spring Semester, with our most popular sessions returning, and some new ones appearing for the first time.
There will be possible interruptions to the Library Retrieval System (LRS) deliveries from:
- Tuesday, 7 October to Friday, 10 October from 6am to 2pm daily, due to Crane servicing.
Please allow extra time on these days for your requests to reach the Library.
For PhD students and early career researchers
Shut Up and Write is a writing bootcamp run by UTS Library, and over the course of eight weeks we’ll provide you with an environment to focus exclusively on your writing.
This process is simple:
1. Search the Library Catalogue.
2. Select the item you want. If it's held in the LRS, you will see 'Library Retrieval System' under Location.
