Yes, to book an Open Reserve item, go to the Loans Desk and ask Library staff to make a booking for you.

You can collect the booked item from the Open Reserve shelves yourself and borrow it using one of the self-service loans machines.

The following rules apply:

• bookings can be made up to 1 week in advance
• bookings have a maximum 2-hour Loan time period
• bookings will be cancelled if the items are not collected within 15 minutes of their start time.
