This study guide has been designed to help you use the Endnote program to manage your referencing. The guide provides templates for citing a range of legal resources, including both primary and secondary legal materials. The guide demonstrates that you do not need to use all the fields found in an Endnote reference type- simply use the fields mentioned in the examples below. Note that the example are arranged in alphabetical order.
At UTS the legal referencing style available for use with EndNote is AGLC (UTS). This style is based on the Australian Guide to Legal Citation [3] (3rd edition, 2010) published by Melbourne University Law Review [4].
The table below provides examples of how the various legal reference types look using AGLC (UTS) EndNote style in footnotes. For information on how to download the AGLC Law style for EndNote see EndNote Law: Install [5]
