If the same work is being cited twice, but on different pages, how does EndNote handle it?

Do you mean that you are citing a work twice, but want different page numbers inside the in-text citations? EndNote is fine with this. Insert the citations to the work into your document as usual, then select one of them and click on the Edit Citations icon. Put the relevant page number(s) into the Pages box, then click on OK. Then select the other one, and repeat but with the different page numbers. The work will only appear once in your reference list no matter how many times you cite it like this.
