The easiest way to do this is as follows. The method works for one reference, several references, or a whole reference library.

1. Open your Reference Library and ensure you have the correct Style selected.
2. Select the whole library using Control+A (Option+A on a Mac). Or, select the particular references you want by clicking on them, while holding down the Control key on your keyboard (Option key on a Macintosh).
3. Right click with your mouse on one of the selected references, and choose Copy Formatted.
4. Open a Word document, place your cursor where you want the selected references to appear, and Paste (the easiest way is right click with mouse and select Paste).

An alternative, slightly more complex way is as follows:

1. Open the reference library and select the reference style you want it to be printed in. Sort the reference library so it's ordered in the way you want it to be when printed (eg by clicking on the Author tab).
2. To print just a selection of the references in your reference library, select those references while holding down the Control key (Option key on a Macintosh), and then click on References, Show Selected References.
3. Click on File, Export. Give your reference list a name (any name will do).
4. Change Save as type to Rich Text Format.
5. Choose where you want to save the reference list and click on Save.
6. Open the saved file in Word, and edit if necessary. It is now ready to be printed.

On a Macintosh you also have the option of making a PDF file of your references:

1. Repeat steps 1 or 2 immediately above.
2. Click on File, Print ..., Save As PDF ...
3. Give the saved file a name in Save As: (any name will do), and change Where: to where you want to save the reference list. Then click on Save.
4. Open the saved PDF file and print it.
