If you're talking about borrowing a book, you've got a few options. Step one is always the same though, and involves having the book in hand. From there, you can either:

OPTION A: Go to the Loans desk near the entrance to the Library and the friendly staff can put the book on your record.

OPTION B: Use one of the self checkout machines located on every floor of the Library, and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you're asking how to request or place a hold on the book (say, if someone else has the book that you want on loan):

1. Search for the book using the big search bar under the blue banner

2. Click on the the title of the book you'd like

3. Click the Request Item button

4. Enter your student number and the password you use to login to UTS Online

5. Keep an eye on your UTS email account - we'll send you an email when it's time to come pick up the book!

I hope this is what you were looking for. If not, please feel free to post a comment updating us :)
