Hi David,

I was looking for teaching material to replace the old Catalyst tutorial on concept mapping and found these good videos on using Credo http://www.youtube.com/user/CredoReferenceVideos

I also remember Ashley demonstrating how to use Credo for search terms in a Library orientation.

Basically, I would like an interactive exercise or video on the skill.

We have a UTS video on

We have a UTS video on breaking down a research question - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WcVQG98QyU and we also a have a page from our Assignment Kit that supports the video - https://www.lib.uts.edu.au/help/study-skills/assignment-survival-kit

I did a little search and there is a crude little mind map software embedded in this link - http://www.studygs.net/mapping/exercise1.htm and no doubt there are countless more iterations of this type of thing out there.

Ashley (ashley.england@uts.edu.au) will likely have some more materials if you need them. I know she has done a mind map on corporate social responsibility you can have if you need it. I have a copy of it too should you like it - though its just freehand writing.

Thanks!

David

Hi Amanda,

I think we might have let Credo go. Was there anything you needed reference information for specifically -it's possible we have an alternate resource you can use.

Let me know if so,

David @ UTS Library
