Referencing an evaluation of a company or organisation

I need to reference a few independent evualtions of a company, which has been performed by a specific unit at a university. On the cover of the evaluation it is also stated "prepared by [name]".

As author, when I'm referencing, should I use the specific unit with the university's name, just the university or the one who prepared the evaluation report?

Hi Ulf,

Good question. I would tend towards calling the human being the author and making the university the publisher, unless you feel that the role of the person involved doesn't merit authorship. It can be hard to make that call I know, but to me 'prepared by' in reference to a piece of business analysis seems like authorship.

I hope this helps,

David
