APA question

Just a quick referencing question. I have 2 APA style guides in front of me and can't figure it out. For an author-prominent citation with multiple authors, you list them all the first time and then use et al. subsequent times. What about for information prominent citations?

Hi Brie,

Sorry for the delay in answering this. My understanding of this is that the referencing convention for multiple authors should not be affected by either author prominent or information prominent citations - so that the rule would apply where you cite all authors the first time and with et al subsequently no matter which way you prefer to cite the material. I'm basing this on the APA referencing guide produced by Curtin, which is the one we link to on our website.

Thanks, hope this helps
