Reference List: two authors different years

For the reference list, if I have two articles by the same author published in different years, which comes first in the reference list? Would it be ascending or descending chronologically?

Good question Rebekah,

The answer to this lives in the 'more information' part of the Harvard UTS Referencing guide:

If you have two references by the same author, but the references were printed in different years, list the references in chronological order in your reference list.

Eg:

Smith, A. 2003 ...

Smith, A. 2005 ...

Hope this helps!

David
