Citing the title and author of a book in the middle of a paragraph

Hi,

How would I correctly state and reference the title and author of a book in the middle of my paragraph.

For example

In a similar way, In a similar way, Journey of a mind: An autobiographical account, by Ross E Bousfield is written as a narrative and explores what it is like to be an inpatient in a psychiatric hospital (2009).

Where Journey of a mind: An autobiographical account is the title, and Bousfield is the author.
Have I done this correctly?
