What if there are two names (written and adapted by two different people)?

If the chapter of the book shows that it was 'written by this person' but it also states that it was 'adapted by another person', which one do we use as the author of the chapter?

Hi Ashleigh

Our Harvard UTS Referencing guide addresses this under the Books tab

the following is copied from that page:

Translation or Adaptation from an original
If referencing a translation or adaptation, use the publication details of the translation or adaptation (such as the year and place of publication, and the publisher), not the details of the original work.

I hope this helps - best wishes,

Jane
