UTS Library

Print, Copy, Scan

UTS printing and copying services are cashless and you will need to have activated your email account at UTS: MyAccount.

You can add credit to your account by using cash or EFTPOS facilities available in the Library, or by adding credit to your account online via MyMonitor. Your account must have credit in it before you can print or copy.

To print, copy or scan you will need your student ID card.

During Semester

City Campus Library:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8.30am - 9.00pm, there is a 30min lunch break in the daytime
  • Friday 8.30am - 8.00pm
  • Saturday - Sunday: 10.00am - 5.00pm, there is a 30min lunch break in the daytime

Kuring-gai Campus Library:

  • Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 4.00pm, there is a 30min break for lunch
  • Saturday - Sunday: 1.30pm - 5.00pm

Recess Summer & Winter

City Campus Library:

  • Monday - Friday: 9.30am - 5.30pm, there is a 30min lunch break in the daytime
  • Saturday - Sunday: 1.30pm - 5.00pm

Assistance

Monitor staff are available to assist you with copying and printing. There is a MONITOR Service Counter in both libraries:

  • City Campus Library - in the Copying and Printing Room, Level 2
  • Kuring-gai Campus Library - just inside the entry to the Library

Community members

The Library uses a cashless system for all copying and printing services.

You can add credit to your community membership account by using the cash or EFTPOS facilities available in the Library. Your account must have credit before you can print or copy.

To add credit to your account, you will need your Library card. You will also need your computer username and password (these are on your Library card) to access printing services.

Printing, copying and scanning facilities are available at both campus libraries and are managed by Monitor Business Machines Pty Ltd.

Day Visitors

You can add credit to your Day Visitor card by using the cash or EFTPOS facilities available in the Library. Your account must have credit before you can copy or scan.

Copying or scanning using a Day Visitor card will cost a minimum of $1.

Note: There are no refunds if you do not use the value in the account on the day. The Day Visitor card must be returned at the end of the visit.

INSEARCH Language students

To copy, you will need your INSEARCH Language Card or any other generic card with a magnetic stripe. These cards are not linked to an account in your name, and if your card is lost, any unused copying value on the card will also be lost. Alternatively you can obtain a card from the loans desk, a minimum of $1 will need to be added to your card.

Faculty or Unit Accounts

Students requiring access to Faculty or Unit accounts will need to complete the form below. 

University staff need to be linked to a Faculty or Unit account. To register for a Faculty or Unit account, complete one of the following forms.

Completed forms should be submitted to the fax number listed on the Account Access Request Form.
