INTRODUCTORY SESSIONSA number of introductory sessions are held in the library during the first few weeks of semester. These sessions are not specific to any subject area, but give a good overview of the services and resources provided by UTS Library.
If you can't make any of the scheduled sessions, there are Audio Tours, Visual Tours and Online Tutorials available to help you (see Related Links), or you can request a group session. FOR STAFF: SUBJECT SPECIFIC LIBRARY RESEARCH CLASSESWe can provide subject specific classes upon request by academics. Librarians can work with academics to devise classes that meet the needs of the students for their assignments. Classes can take the form of hands-on workshops for up to 20 students or demonstrations/seminars for groups of up to 50 students per session. Academics should contact their Information Services Librarian to arrange a class. CUSTOM CLASSES FOR STUDENTSWe can provide custom classes for student groups of 6 or more. Book online to arrange a custom session. REFERENCINGThe Library provides training in the use of both EndNote and RefWorks software. Book online to attend a session.
