UTS is a member of the Australasian Digital Theses Program (ADT). This is an international collaborative program which aims to establish a distributed database of digital versions of theses produced by postgraduate research students at Australasian universities.
Search for a digital thesis
Because the digital theses are in PDF format, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read them. If you do not already have this software installed on your computer, you can download a free version from Adobe.
Depositing a thesis
Postgraduate research students at UTS who have recently completed their degrees are strongly encouraged to add their thesis to the others on this site. Please read the instructions below. Library staff are available to assist you with this process.
Scanned theses
We have a program of scanning older printed theses and adding these to our ADT website. These are theses which have been requested by other institutions as Interlibrary Loans, theses which are frequently consulted within the library, or where an author specifically asks us to digitise their thesis and make it available on the Web. Please get in contact with us if you wish us to digitise your printed UTS PhD or research Masters thesis and add it to our ADT website.
When digitising a thesis and adding it to our website, we make every effort to contact the author and ask for permission to do this. However, it is not always possible to locate a thesis author. If your thesis has been added to our ADT website and we have been unable to contact you, please let us know.
