Installing Law reference styles for use with EndNote
At UTS the Endnote legal referencing style is based on the Melbourne University Law Association's Australian Guide to Legal Citation (2nd edition, 2002), and is called AGLC (UTS).
To use this style with EndNote you will need to download and save 2 small files:
* Law Reference types e.g. Cases, Legislation, books, journals, treaties etc
* AGLC style: this allows you to correctly format references and use them with Word. It should already be downloaded on all UTS computers in public areas.
Recommended Versions of EndNote
The latest version, EndNote X3, is recommended. You can use an earlier version if you wish; however:
- Windows 7 users must use EndNote X3.
- Windows Vista users must use EndNote X1 or later.
- Macintosh users with Word 2008 must use EndNote X2 or later; or EndNote X1 if you also download a free patch from EndNote's website.
EndNote X or later is strongly recommended. The Law reference types and AGLC style will not work with EndNote 7 or earlier versions.
