UTS Library kicks off 2017 with Research Week, our annual researcher skills development program that will help you get started on your next big project.
The Literature Review day of Research Week always seems to be popular. I guess it is the thing which we in the library are most identified with in relation to how we can assist research students. Of course you all know that searching for the Literature Review is but one thing!
We had three main presenters (besides myself!) on the Wednesday of Research Week.
Data Visualisation is about bringing data to life. It is where data and design come together to create meaningful, compelling, and accessible stories.
To try and make your lives easier, we're in the process of listing all the tools and resources for Research Week in the one place. We're still processing the recordings and will make everything available on this page as soon as we can!

Data is a very important part of being a Researcher in general, but it is particularly important to be aware that UTS is positioning itself as the Data Intensive University.
Wednesday's theme during Research Week was Communicate and Collaborate!
Research Reading and Writing by Dr Terry Royce
Day two of Research Week was themed around developing the skills you need to know when you're first entering PhD Land.

With all of our orientation madness time has slipped by and it has already been a month since Research week! Below are links to all of the workshop materials that were used on Monday 6th of February. The theme of the day was Setting the Scene and was aimed at bringing us all up to speed with the Research Environment at UTS.
