LRS Requests

icon  Service Interruption: As of Monday 25 November through to Tuesday 24 December 2019 LRS deliveries will take place at these times:
  • Monday to Friday: First delivery 8am, and then 5pm and 7pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm
  • Tuesday 24 December: 8am and 2pm only
The Library Retrieval System (LRS) is an automated storage and retrieval facility where our low-use collection items are stored.

 

Requesting, picking up and returning LRS items

For items held in the Library Retrieval System follow the link to Request the material.

Request item from the Library Retrieval System  

After you have requested an item and it is ready to be collected, you will receive an email or SMS notification and it will be held for you for 7 days from this notification.

You can collect the item from the Reserve Room just beyond the Service Desk on Level 7 of the Library. Items are sorted on the shelves alphabetically by your surname.

Return chutes are available on Level 5 (located near entrance to Reading Room) and Level 7 (located outside entrance to UTS Library) of UTS Central.
