This session will provide you with an overview of the research ethics and integrity framework at UTS, and give you the know-how for making responsible and ethical decisions around how to design and conduct your research, and how you work with your colleagues, peers and supervisors to ensure the best research outcomes for everyone.




Louise Wheeler, Manager, Research integrity and Research Programs at UTS.

Louise has responsibility for managing the University’s approach to research integrity, including promotion of the responsible research culture that exists here at UTS. She also drives key programs around research that are central to the UTS Research Strategy, including the UTS Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Research Excellence, the Distinguished Visiting Scholarship scheme, and the Research Equity Initiative.

Dr Brie TurnerEthics Manager, Research Operations and Management, UTS.

As Research Ethics Manager, Brie is responsible for the management of all UTS ethics and biosafety committees. Brie's main priority in this role is to ensure that those conducting research on behalf of UTS are committed to the highest possible standards of ethical conduct.
