Sage Journals
Probably the best single database for academic articles in the field, Sage contains high ranked journals such as Planning Theory, Environment and Planning D, Journal of Travel Research and many more more.

Taylor and Francis
Also a strong player in the field, below Sage but comparable with ScienceDirect. Contains high ranked journals such as Urban Geography, Journal of the American Planning Association and more.

Science Direct
An academic database containing prestigious journals such as Building and Environment, Long Range Planning, Progress in Planning and more.

A large multidisciplinary database, that contains journal articles but also PHD theses and electronic books.

Specialist Resources

CityScope - CityScope will give you leasehold information about city office buildings and also provide you with a description of their features, including Nabers ratings.

Isurv - Produced by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Isurv is a portal to professional guidance online in topics of planning, project management and property. It also contains expert practical commentary, legislative guidance, relevant case summaries and hundreds of ready-to-use checklists and document templates.

LandscanLandScan is a global population database that shows geographical distribution of population at one-kilometer resolution over an average 24 hour period.
