Winners of the Top 10 Unanswerable Questions Competition

Congratulations to the Winners of the Top 10 Unanswerable Questions Competition which was part of Play Day 2012 held last week.

UTS Library will contact the winners to pick up their prizes. Thank you to all those that entered, we enjoyed reading the answers.

1. What is the meaning of life?
WINNER: Rajat Srivastava
ANSWER: I think the invention of chocolate answered that question a long time ago. Next question please.

2. Is there a God?
WINNER: Stacey Pritchett
ANSWER: You ask us to prove that God exists. I ask you, can you prove that he doesn't?

3. Do blondes have more fun?
WINNER: Justin Marcus White
ANSWER: I am not sure, but while getting caught in a severe lightining storm a blonde friend of mine started grinning like a cheshire cat. I asked her why she was smiling and she replied "one should always smile for photographs". She seemed to enjoy the "attention".

4. What is the best way to lose weight?

ANSWER: Run! Run Forest, Run.

5. Is there anybody out there?
WINNER: Jenni Relma Sawyer
ANSWER: Well yeah! of course!

6. Who is the most famous person in the world?

ANSWER: In this day and age, It would probably be whoever has the most facebook friends or twitter followers...

7. What is love?

ANSWER: ...baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more.

8. What is the secret to happiness

ANSWER: Chocolate, lots and lots of chocolate.

9. Why did the chicken cross the road?
WINNER: Jenni Relma Sawyer
ANSWER: Chickens, over great periods of time, have been naturally selected in such a way that they are now genetically disposed to cross roads.

ANSWER: Because he was curious, and he had to cross the road to get to the place he wanted to go. Some might say he had no choice, but I would argue that he could have stayed put and chose not to. And then of course, there's the theory that he was pushed. That's also possible, and in that case, he made a good decision - if you are pushed into the middle of the road, it's better to keep walking till you get to the other side where you can pause awhile and then decide what you want to do with yourself.
