ASME: Digital Collection

The ASME Digital Library is migrating to a new platform > ASME Digital Collection as of 27 February 2013.

About ASME:
Founded in 1880 as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASME is a professional organisation focused on technical, educational and research issues related to the engineering and technology community. ASME conducts one of the world's largest technical publishing operations and is responsible for some of the profession's most prestigious journals, books and conference proceedings.

What you need to know:

  • Alerts that you have set up in the old ASME Digital Library will no longer work.
    Please create new alerts by setting up a personal account in the new platform.
  • ASME content you previously accessed via Scitation will now only be available from the new platform.
  • Article Collections you may have saved on Scitation will not be migrated, and this functionality be not be offered on the new platform.
  • Links are being updated, but please let us know if you find any problems.

  • Browse by topical collections
  • Enhanced content display and tools
  • Improve usability, discovery and readability
  • Personalisation capabilities
  • Optimised viewing for smart phones and tablets
