UTS ePRESS announces new book – Lace Narratives by Cecilia Heffer

UTS ePRESS announces the release of a new eBook, Lace Narratives, written by Cecilia Heffer and designed by Zoë Sadokierski. Lace Narratives documents Cecilia Heffer’s innovative lace-making practice over a decade, including major exhibitions and commissions. The publication is accompanied by a seven-minute process video documenting Cecilia creating the lace-work Drawn Threads.

The eBook is available through UTS ePRESS, and a print-on-demand edition will be available shortly. A limited edition artist’s book with lace samples bound into the pages has also been produced and is currently on display in the Library Foyer at the City Campus Library.

Lace Narratives is part of MediaObject, a unique open access book series allowing practice-based creative arts researchers to publish in a variety of media, extending the language of the traditional scholarly book or monograph into the multimodal digital age.
