Take care of yourself!

This time of the year can be stressful. Never be afraid of asking for help. Are you, or is someone you know, having a hard time right now? It's important to talk to a qualified professional if you're feeling low, and UTS Counselling Service are here to help ... available for all UTS students and all services are either free or bulk-billed. Book an appointment today.

Throughout the day, you can press pause for a little while and mindfully reset yourself. Purposeful pauses can be a quick creative way to reset yourself to come back to the current moment and experience life by focusing all of your attention and using all of your senses to observe or experience a basic activity (such as having the first bite of your lunch or sitting comfortably on the grass during a study break). Take control by consciously relaxing, whether through physical exercise, breathing exercises or activities you enjoy. Talk with others about your anxieties and concerns.
