New procedure for Day Visitors

Commencing in 2019, the procedure for obtaining a Day Visitor pass to the UTS Library is changing. The new procedure requires pre-registration. 

Eligibility and cost

Day Visitor passes will continue to be available for anyone who is not a member of UTS Library outside of exam periods and weekends. These passes are available at no cost and are limited to 10 visits per calendar year and are available for access Monday to Friday. 

Pre-registration
Registration will be required a minimum of 2 business days prior to visiting the Library. Your registration will be reviewed and a confirmation email sent to you 1 business day prior to your requested date.

  • Date(s) of visit (You can apply for multiple dates in one email)

When you arrive
You will need to bring the following to the front desk of the Library to receive your Day Visitor pass:

  • Your confirmation email
  • Photo ID

What access is included with the Day Visitor pass?
As a Day Visitor you will be able to access the Library's collections, copy and scan. You will also be able to request items from the Library Retrieval System (LRS) for a day loan. Please see LRS Requests for further details.

Day Visitors are unable to access Library computers, WiFi or printing facilities and no refunds are available for money placed on Day Visitor Cards for copying.
