UTS Library

Library display featuring works produced by UTS Animation students

Leporello book display

On display are animations made by graduates of the Bachelor of Design in Animation from 2013-18, leporello books, animation character development drawings, illustrations and zines.

First year animation students created the leporello books on display in 2018. The term leporello refers to printed material folded into an accordion-pleat style. Also sometimes known as a concertina fold, it is a method of parallel folding with the folds alternating between front and back. Original character development and detailed hand drawn illustrations are created at various points throughout the animation course. These works showcase character drawings developed for larger animation projects.

The selection of zines on display produced by various animation students and UTS Alumni, are an opportunity for students to share their illustrated characters and stories through a different format.

Display is on until 14 July 2019 at UTS Library - Level 2 Foyer.
