2 – 27 March 2020
The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Celebrating 40 years of 2SER 107.3, the community radio station jointly owned by UTS and Macquarie University, this interactive exhibition delves into the rich and vibrant history of 2SER.

40 years of 2SER 107.3 will be on display on Level 7 of UTS Central (Building 2) during March, celebrating the the past four decades of broadcast with a plethora of stories, images, audio, and artefacts from 2SER’s archives. Take your headphones for the full experience.

Broadcasting to the greater Sydney area on 107.3 FM, digital radio and online, 2SER has provided Sydney with specialist music, news, opinion and current affairs programs. One of Sydney’s first FM stations, it brought this city’s unique cultural history to the ears of devoted listeners who tuned in for Sydney’s first queer radio program, for underground 90s dance music, and for one of Sydney’s only local and independent newsrooms.

Since the first broadcast in 1979, 2SER has worked tirelessly to bring Sydneysiders a wide variety of stories, ideas and music. Find out more about the people, guests, technical achievements, and dig into the music scenes and social movements that 2SER helped shape and propel!

If you want to learn more, why not listen to the original interviews made for the exhibition or take a deep dive into the 2SER archive. Alternatively join the 2SER Honour Roll or join the 2SER Alumni Facebook group.
