Hi Patty,

In terms of referencing, this article can be treated like a regular news article. In terms of credibility, there is nothing wromg with using an opinion piece in your work (though this depends somewhat on the topic) so long as you let your reader know that the words or ideas you are taking from the piece are not straight news reporting (if there would be any confusion about that).
