Could we enable "Sync" function in EndNote?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have registered on websites "Web of Science" and then EndNote service with my UTS student email.

When I check my Account Information tab on EndNote's website, it is shown that I own one-year EndNote account, as belows:

However, it seems to be two-year EndNote account to enable Sync:

So, if my understanding is correct, does that mean we cannot enable "Sync" function in EndNote?

Yours faithfully,

Yi-Chan Tsai

Hi Yi-Chan,

Sorry for the delay in answering this I wanted to confer with a colleague before doing so. As far as Patrick and I know there shouldn't be anything stopping you synching from Endnote web via Web of Science to Endnote (though we must admit we haven't seen this one/two year endnote account thing before) - is your version of EndNote from UTS? And if so what version do you have? Sorry to answer your question with more questions. If you'd like to you can email or call me on david.litting@uts.edu.au / 95143390 though I'll be pretty busy today and might not be able to give your enquiry full attention until tomorrow.

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply.

The problem was solved yesterday.

My account status of EndNote had become 'Active' from 'Roaming' as well as the 'Expiration Date' was shown '18 August 2017', meaning this is a two-year account.

I guess the root cause may be the reason that the authentication system needs some time to synchronise user data.

Anyway, thanks for introducing such useful software for us.

Yours Sincerely,

Yi-Chan Tsai
