How do you reference an interviewee speaking in a magazine interview?

I am trying to figure out how to quote a person from an interview which has been published in a magazine. I'm not sure whether I should be referencing the author of the interview (the interviewer), or the person who said the words I'm quoting (the interviewee).

Should this be done as a quote from a work citing another author? As in this https://www.lib.uts.edu.au/help/referencing/harvard-uts-referencing-guide/newspaper-or-magazine

The main reference should be to the magazine article, in both the in text reference and the bibliography.  In the body of your paper you can refer to the interviewee being the subject of the article.
