Hi Lynette,

This is a tough question to answer as there are so many different types of resources out there that you can use. I’ve tried to cover some of the broad types of information available to you, but if you could send me more information about what you were looking for then I can direct you to the most useful resources for your question.

What you can find in the catalogue: books, journals, newspapers, magazines, DVDs, subject readings and UTS research outputs (for example UTS theses)

Some things that you can’t find via the catalogue:

  • Individual journal articles - instead you will need to search in Find Articles or Find Databases.
  • Statistics and Data (company and industry information, country statistics) – these can usually be found in Find Databases or on the internet
  • Websites, government reports, historical documentation – Some of these can be found via Find Databases, on the internet or in other libraries.

Again this isn’t an exhaustive list of resources – so please let me know if you have any further questions.
